Novilon Oilon is a cast polyamide, which is inserted microscopic drops of oil during the production process. Regardless of the processing method, the oil content in the material mass causes the material to always be located on the sliding surface. The oil is evenly dispersed across the entire volume of the material in the form of microdrops.
25% lower coefficient of friction than regular polyamides
does not heat up when used
the oil never evaporates or leaks out
the surface is non-porous, smooth and hard
extremely wear resistant (especially to abrasion)
excellent corrosion resistance
high impact resistance
low coefficient of friction
easy handling of large parts
low energy consumption factor
simple and reasonably-priced processing
The Most Common Applications
sliding rails, various sliders
sliding and base plates
chain guides and roller chains
sliding sealing rings
discs for bending metal profiles
linings in the aluminium industry
